Staff Training and Development

Our commitment to our staff team is the foundation of our parenting. We, therefore, have a range of both mandatory (m) and additional training we offer to our staff team to support their individual practice, which is detailed in the table below.

93% of our staff are qualified to NVQ Level 3,  Diploma Level 3 or higher. All staff who are not yet qualified to NVQ Level 3 or Diploma Level 3 (England) Residential Childcare, are either seeking to complete that award or will be registered to undertake it.

The staff team consists of Qualified Social Workers, Residential Workers, Teaching Staff, Youth Workers and supporting Clinical Psychotherapist. Our staff skills matrix is based around the individual needs of our young people and is geared to deliver each home’s specific Statement of Function and Purpose.
