Lawrence House School has WON the Multimedia category for Show Racism the Red Card School Competition May 2022!!!

Lawrence House School is over the moon to have been awarded the Bronze LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Education Award from Leeds Beckett University – February 2022

This is a very prestigious award from the University’s Carnegie School for Education – Centre for LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Education which was opened in 2017.

The award included assessment over 8 key competencies;
• Leadership & Development
• Governance
• Professional Learning & Development
• Curriculum
• The Physical Environment
• The Emotional Environment: Promoting Wellbeing with Parents & Carers
• Working in Partnership With Students
• Working in Partnership with Parents, Carers & Community Organisations

 

We are pleased to announce we achieved the Bronze award for Health and Well-being in September 2021!

The award aims to provide an opportunity to celebrate our current whole school good practice, whilst identifying any areas for improvement that will make a difference and demonstrate impact to our young people. 

The bronze award covers four main areas:

Emotional well-being and mental health, Healthy Eating, Physical Activity, PSHE
