Knowlsey House is based in Sheffield and caters for both boys and girls with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The home offers consistent support to young people who have struggled with their emotional regulation. The emphasis is on clear and inclusive planning, encouraging young people to gain confidence, respect and resilience through offering permanence, opportunities for meaningful attachment and good authoritative parenting.
The management team are experienced practitioners, with many years working within the profession. The home has built up excellent multi-agency relationships and successfully supported young people through their journey, enabling them to move on to independence with confidence. Knowlsey house has access and support from QPC clinical team, and can offer a range of assessments and therapeutic interventions from our clinical psychologist, Dr Marshall.
